Refund Policy

Fast, fair & transparent. 90% refund on eligible tickets + clear timelines for M-Pesa, Paystack, Till & Cards.

1. Eligibility & Refund Amount

✅ You may request a refund if: Cancellation within 3 Days of purchase (event >2 days away), event canceled/postponed, or duplicate purchase.

Refund Rule: You receive 90% of the ticket price. The 10% platform fee is non-refundable and retained by Pata Ticket for processing & support.

⚠️ Non-refundable cases: Non-refundable tickets, partially attended events, lost tickets, or force majeure.

2. How to Cancel

Once payment is confirmed, tickets cannot be cancelled online. Contact organizer or our support team directly.

Reach out for cancellation & refunds:

Have your order number ready. Refund requests for events within 2 hours may be declined.

3. Processing Timelines

After approval, refunds are credited within:

  • Cards (Visa/Mastercard): 2-6 business days
  • PayPal / M-Pesa / Airtel: 1-3 business days
  • Paystack: 2-5 business days
  • Till Number payments: 3-7 business days
  • Bank Transfer: 7-14 business days

Review time: 24-48 hours after request. You'll receive email confirmation once processed.

4. Refund to Original Payment

Refunds go back to the same method you used:

  • Visa/Mastercard/Paystack: Back to your card
  • M-Pesa / Airtel Money: To your mobile wallet (1-3 days)
  • Till Number: Manual reversal / bank transfer (3-7 days)
  • PayPal / Bank Transfer: Original account

If your card expired, contact support within 7 days of approval to arrange alternative refund.

5. Exceptions & Support

  • Non-refundable tickets: Clearly marked at checkout.
  • Force majeure: Organizer discretion applies.
  • No refunds for lost/stolen tickets or partial attendance.
